Resources / Tools for Gamma OS (RG505 / RG405V / RG405M ONLY).

  • WinRAR

    This will help us open our zipped file downloads. Most if not all computers nowadays are 64 bit so as of this writing, the version I chose was WinRAR 6.24 English 64 bit.

  • Google Chrome Browser

    Pretty straight forward...

  • Android USB Drivers

    This will ensure your device is recognized in Windows. Click on Download the Google USB Driver ZIP file (ZIP). Turn on your RG device with USB debugging on and plug it into your computer and follow the instructions here: https://developer.android.com/studio/run/oem-usb#InstallingDriver

  • ADB and Fastboot tools + drivers

    As of this writing, the latest version I used is ADB-and-Fastboot++_v1.0.8.exe

  • Unisoc Drivers

    To recognize our RG device on the PC

  • Latest version of Gamma OS

    Make sure to get the correct one for your console. In my case it is the RG505.GammaOS_v1.5.1.7z. If you don't want Google services on your device, you can choose the lite option. For example, RG505.GammaOS_Lite_v1.5.1.7z
